Warranty conditions

 

The terms of the car warranty are as follows.

1. Quality warranty

1.1. FOMM ASIA CO., LTD. warrants cars manufactured or distributed officially or distributed by authorized dealers only.

1.2. The warranted cars must be in the period of 36 months or mileage does not exceed 100,000 kilometers from the delivery date.

1.3. FOMM ASIA CO., LTD. or authorized dealers has warranted only defects arisen from the assembly or materials. By means of repairing or replacing only parts or materials that have been damaged with warranty in the period of 6 months or mileage does not exceed 10,000 kilometers from the service date.

 

2. Warranty exceptions

2.1. Cars which are not checked periodically from FOMM ASIA CO., LTD., authorized dealers, or authorized service centers within period times have been set.

2.2. Damage or abnormality caused by repairing, modification, or maintenance by other persons or companies who are not authorized by FOMM ASIA CO., LTD.

2.3. Damage or abnormality caused by using non-certified parts from FOMM ASIA CO., LTD.

2.4. Damage or abnormality caused by neglect instructions specified in the owner manual.

2.5. Damage caused by driving with speed or carrying with weight is against prescribed laws or regulations in each area.

2.6. Damage caused by driving into areas prohibited by laws or regulations in each area.

2.7. Damage caused by deterioration of parts, materials or equipment due to ordinary usage as instructions specified in the owner manual. In additional, the operation fees and wages and necessary spare part’s expense for the maintenance and repairing is excepted such as expenses for changing tires, brake pads, brake fluid, wiper blades, wheel alignment, balancing etc.

2.8. Damage caused on glass components such as windshield glass, back glass and quarter glasses.

2.9. Normal noise or vibration which does not affect the quality and performance of the car.

2.10. Damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, terrorism or theft.

2.11. Cars which have been adjusted the mileage displayed on the meter or which have been removed or broken the speedometer sensor.

2.12. Expenses for accommodation, fuel expenses, telephone charges, towing fees, time wasted, business damages, etc.

 

3. Excluded quality warranty items

3.1. 12V lead acid battery

FOMM ASIA CO., LTD warrants the battery by replacement with a new one in cases of the battery is dysfunctional caused by defects or damage from materials or assembly process within the period of 12 months or mileage does not exceed 20,000 kilometers depending on which period has reached first from the delivery date.

3.2. Lithium-ion batteries

FOMM ASIA CO., LTD warrants the battery by replacement with a new one in cases of the battery is dysfunctional caused by defects or damage from materials or assembly process or the battery has a maximum capacity less than 80 percent compared to a rated capacity within the period of 36 months or mileage does not exceed 100,000 kilometers depending on which period has reached first from the delivery date.

3.3. Tires

FOMM ASIA CO., LTD warrants tires by replacement with a new one in cases of defects or damage caused by materials or assembly process in the period of 12 months or mileage does not exceed 20,000 kilometers depending on which period has reached first from the delivery date.

3.4. Electric motors

FOMM ASIA CO., LTD warrants tires by replacement with a new one in cases of defects or damage caused by materials or assembly process in the period of 72 months or mileage does not exceed 100,000 kilometers depending on which period has reached first from the delivery date.

 

4. Warranty conditions for decorative accessories

FOMM ASIA CO., LTD warrants decorative accessories which have a trademark of the company and which have been installed or equipped by the company, authorized dealers, or authorized service center within the remaining quality warranty period of the car and at least 12 months or mileage does not exceed 20,000 kilometers depending on which period has reached first from an installation date as detailed in the following table.

Vehicle inspection report

Customer who bring car to check conditions periodically must check the correctness, record items by service provider, detail according to the following table to be used as the next service entry and protect the right to be received warranty.
